If you’re a Shakespeare enthusiast or a hopeless romantic, this Valentine’s day could be one of if not the most memorable one yet. Airbnb has announced that one couple will be granted a once in a lifetime opportunity to stay  in the same building that has the iconic balcony from “Romeo and Juliet”.

The Casa Di Giulietta has become a hot spot for fans of the iconic lovers play. The odd thing is that Shakespeare never really specified an exact location of Juliet’s home.  In Shakespeare’s 16-century play, it was set in the Italian city of Verorna, where they profess their love for each other on a balcony.

Even though the location hasn’t been actually deemed the exact location, it still gets thousands of letters keeping the non for profit Juliet club extremely busy. However this year Airbnb is stepping in and offering a modern day Romeo and Juliet themed overnight stay at the historic building.

One lucky couple will be the first to stay overnight since the 1930’s.  The medieval themed bedroom will also feature the “Letto Di Giulietta”. It’s the original bed that was featured in the 1968 adapation of Romeo and Juliet.

HOW DO WE APPLY?

Couples who want a chance to stay will have to write a detailed letter with their own love story and they must explain why they would be the perfect guest for this event.  The lucky couple will also get a tour of Verona among some other very cool things.

Couples wishing to take advantage of this unique offer will have to write a letter detailing their own love story and explain why they would be the perfect guests for the romantic getaway.

The deadline for submissions via Airbnb is February 2, 11:59 p.m. ET.
