Beechworth Haunted Lunatic Asylum
Victoria, Australia’s Beechworth Mental Asylum is a place you don’t want to be left alone. The asylum at one point in time was fully self-sufficient and ran as a mental health hospital. They had their own gardens, stables, piggery, and even recreational areas such as a tennis court. The facility functioned as its own entity and could survive without the likes of any help from the outside world. The facility became its own unit, so everything that happened there stayed there including the bad.
From the outside, it sounded like a good place to go if you have mental health problems. The outside observer would see the place as a new beginning, a place they could learn to function again in the real world. However, that wasn’t the case at all. It was a terrible place run by people that were evil. The location was known for its cruel and vile treatment of its patients. The staff would heavily neglect the patients that were in need of constant care. The facility was soon overcrowded and pretty soon anyone and everyone was being accepted. If you were poor and didn’t have anywhere to go, chances are you would end up at Beechworth.

WOULD YOU STAY THE NIGHT AND INVESTIGATE IN THIS ASYLUM?
I don’t think I would want to stay the night inside of the asylum. Who knows what kind of entities still linger on from the past, searching for more souls to take over to the other side. Then again there could still be energy from the past of those who suffered at the hands of the evil Beechworth staff.
