The Netflix Horror Movie Written By Bots

In early October, Netflix unleashed its horror movie written by bots. Rewind back 10 years ago, just the thought of something like this would be horrifying, now it’s a reality. Although the movie isn’t a masterpiece or anything of that nature. It was created by a bot that had watched over 400,000 hours of horror movies. The end result was its own horror movie by the name of ‘Mr. Puzzles Want You To Be Less Alive’.

“Do you want to be a gamer,” Mr. Puzzles asks.

“Do not kill me please,” says one victim, “I have several families.”

While some of the dialogue makes you scratch your head, the whole thing is a mess but rather entertaining. The frightening part is that we have robots writing our movies now. In about 10 years or so, robots will be doing everything, so where does that leave us at? Check out the full video below and let us know what you think.

If there’s one Halloween/Christmas movie that everyone loves, it’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. It’s the iconic movie that movie of us have come to love. During Halloween, it’s only natural that we incorporate all things Nightmare Before Christmas into our décor. This year Lovepop has created a popup card that every Nightmare Before Christmas fan would go crazy over.

The car is a 10.25-inch-tall paper bouquet that’s made up of Jack Skellington’s hands, heads, green stems, leaves, and black, red, and white roses. The bouquet also comes in a black and white striped popup vase to make it look even cooler. The best part is that the thing only weighs 6 ounces, but when you unfold it the creation comes out. black licorice Can Potentially Kill You

Too much of a good thing can be harmful, that is with anything in life. However, one Massachusetts man found out the hard way because of his love for black licorice. A 54-year-old Massachusetts man “overdosed” on black licorice. The problem is that the candy contains glycyrrhizic acid, which caused his potassium levels to drop. The U.S Food and Drug Administration warns if you’re over 40, eating 2 ounces of black licorice a day for around 2 weeks can make you end up visiting the hospital. The compound that’s in it can cause irregular heartbeat or arrhythmia.

Very low levels of potassium can lead to heart problems, high blood pressure, and some cases even death. It’s scary to think that a candy that many of us have liked for so long could be potentially deadly. What about all the other candy out there? It really makes you think about the things we ingest that we think are harmless.

“Even a small amount of licorice you eat can increase your blood pressure a little bit,” Dr. Neel Butala, a cardiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and one of the authors of the case report in the NEJM, told the Associated Press.

Silence Of The Lambs

The home of the infamous character Buffalo Bill from the 1991 hit film “Silence of the Lambs” is up for sale. The 140-year-old house has an extensive history behind it as well. It served as a train station and a post office in the 1880s. It also served as a general store, and a garage for a short time. There are also rumors that the location is haunted.

The house is located in Perryoplois, Pennsylvania, and is listed for just under $300,000. The 3 story Victorian is located on 1.76 acres of land and it sits along the Youghiogheny River. The house has original hardwood floors, doors, fireplace, and woodwork. The house has had some recent updates like the wrap-around porch and gazebo. There’s even a rose bed garden and fountain on the property for you to enjoy.

It’s not the kind of place you would expect to find a Halloween decoration. Wait a minute, that’s not a Halloween decoration, that’s a real spider web! The Missouri Department of Conservation’s Francis Skalicky found the human-sized spider web on a trail near Springfield. Talk about terrifying, imagine the size of the spider that spun that web?

Imagine knowing there’s a spider in a forest near you that’s the size of your hand or even a little bigger. I don’t think I would sleep easy knowing there’s something in the forest that could trap me in its web and devour me. But don’t worry, according to the Missouri Department of Conservation the spider is harmless to humans. They are known as spotted orb weavers or barn spiders. They mostly eat insects like flies, moths, and other creepy creatures.

The web is between 2 trees so it looks big enough to catch a human. But if you were to get caught up in the web you would easily be able to get out of it. However, you would have one heck of a time getting the webs off of you. So before you think there are man eating spiders in Missouri, there aren’t. Now could there be man eating spiders somewhere out there in the world? Possibly, but the spider that spun this web would most likely run away from you.

The Power Of Intention Or Something More?

There’s been a huge buzz over the newest app by the name of Randonautica. It’s the app that allows you to explore random locations within a certain vicinity based on your intentions. The app is designed as a way to break away from your regular routine and explore your surrounding areas.

Randonauts are encouraged to use their “intentions” to have a quantum effect on their environment. If you’re a bit confused as we were, the video below will explain what that is all about?

So what’s the big deal about Radonautica?

Apparently some teens used the app and ended up finding a suitcase with body parts in it. Imagine going on an adventure guided by a mysterious app that leads you to some body parts. The case is still under investigation and the people who found the suitcase are still shaken up by their experience.

On other occasions, people have said they have had some pretty creepy supernatural occurrences and even a trip to another dimension. Some are saying that the app is lead by someone who is in control of the “dark web”, while others say it’s just mere coincidence and nothing more than a mind trip.

Los Angeles, California is home to the rich and powerful. When you visit Los Angeles you never know what you’re going to see. When it comes to the homes in the Los Angeles area, you also never know what you’re going to find. One thing is for sure, the homes of the super-rich and elite are usually out of this world.

Today we are going to look at some of the homes that look like something out of a fairytale. Hurts Donuts is back at it again, first they came out with the creepy clown delivery for Halloween. Now they have a cupid that comes and delivers your donuts. Customers can schedule a cupid delivery, however there are only a select few locations that are offering the service.

A cupid wearing wings and a diaper shows up and delivers the donuts. He also dances, plays an instrument, throws rose pedals and gives you a hug. The delivery comes with their pink Valentine’s box of donuts that features some pretty good donuts like the chocolate-covered strawberry donut.

Can you imagine being at work and then all of the sudden some guy in a diaper with wings comes in and sings to you and delivers you donuts, how cool and embarrassing would that be? Hurts is also known for its IT inspired evil clown that delivers donuts around Halloween.

I think hurts needs to open up more locations nationwide. Can you imagine all the creepy clowns and cupids running around at various times of the year delivering donuts? That would be a sight to see!

There’s Something For Everyone

The Oddities Flea Market isn’t the kind of flea market you have visited in the past. It’s an experience like no other. There are natural history items, medical ephemera, osteoligical specimens, taxidermy, home décor, jewelry and a lot more.

The event is curated by Ryan Matthew Cohn and is a Brooklyn, New York based event that takes place in Villain in New York City. They also have special events at the Glove Theatre in LA, and also the Stan Mansion in Chicago, Illinois.

The premise of the event is to bring together odd, weird, strange and talented individuals together who collect, create, and sell things. So the team from Oddities Flea Market finds these individuals and helps showcase their work and talent.

The event is really cool and suitable for all ages. They even have food vendors and some other cool activities that kids would enjoy.
