Bobby Mackey’s Haunted Nightclub

In 2006 Bobby Mackeys nightclub was featured on the show “A Haunting” and in 2008 it was also featured on “Ghost Adventures”. The club owner and some of the patrons were also on various talk shows even before that because the club was dubbed “America’s Most Haunted Nightclub”. The reason being is that the location that the night club is in used to be a former slaughter house before it became a night club.

Before the current owner took over the spot the place was in dire condition, no one really wanted it because of the stories. There were supposed murders and suicides and deadly accidents that had happen there. Supposedly the staff has been assaulted by unseen forces and even patrons have seen chair move and glasses fly off of the bar!

There are other stories that Bobby Mackey’s was also a bar before it was a nightclub and that it frequently visited by a pretty rough crowd. There were certain situations that lead to the place being closed down for good, that was until the current owner purchased the place and revamped it up before opening it.

Signs you may be haunted by a poltergeist

What would you do if someone was bothering you? You would seek some kind of help from law enforcement, lawyers, friends, etc. But what if you were being bothered by something you could not see? What if that thing was an entity or spirit that you couldn’t shake no matter how hard you try? You move from place to place hoping it doesn’t follow you, but it does. The Witches Hill

There’s a little cemetery in the town of Olmstead Falls near Cleveland, Ohio that has an interesting history behind it. The Old Chestnut Falls cemetery is shrouded in mystery, legend, and lore. Supposedly it harbors the grave of a woman who was known to be a witch. Her grave is unmarked and legend has it if you get near the grave bad things will happen to you. Before she died she cursed all who did her wrong. However, nothing has been verified if the story is true or not.

Some say if any of this is true it would have happened in the mid 1700’s or 1800’s when hysteria about witches was at an all time high. In those times, accusations of being a witch meant life or death. Most of the time people were either burned, hung, or decapitated. It wasn’t like you would receive a fair trial or anything like that. Other versions say there were numerous women who were buried there in unmarked graves.

They found the skeletons of 2 girls hanging from an old oak tree. The murderer who was also an ex cop had a disturbing childhood. The man even tried to become a priest at one point in his life but was told he “lacked faith.” It’s not known how many people he actually killed near the old oak tree, but some estimate it could have been as high as 30. More than 4 women were found near the tree in shallow graves. Paranormal Activity And Evil Presence

There are countless stories of hikers and park visitors hearing strange sounds and singing coming from the woods. When people search for the source of the sounds, they can’t find anything at all. Some have seen hooded figures moving around the forest. There are areas in the forest especially near the tree where vegetation doesn’t grow. The Haunted Grave Of Bessie The Witch

There’s a grave in Tallahassee’s old city cemetery that’s surrounded by myth, legend, and superstition. The grave belongs to a woman by the name of Elizabeth Budd-Grahm who is also known as “Bessie” the witch. She died in the year 1889 at the age of 23 and left behind a husband and 2 small children. The reason why Bessies grave is so well known is that it’s the most expensive, luxurious, and odd grave in the cemetery. The odd part is that she came from a poor family and at the time of her death her husband didn’t have a lot of money, so how could her grave have been so luxurious?

There are numerous rumors of how this could have happened, but some say that she put a spell on a rich man that caused him to pay for such an extravagant burial site. There are a few other reasons why some believe she was a witch, for one was the position her grave faces, it faces the west and that was said to go against Christian burial practices. The other thing was the inscription on her headstone, it was a passage from Edgar Allan Poe’s “Elleonora”.

Sloss Furnace Company

The old Sloss Furnace Company building in Birmingham, Alabama is said to be the most haunted place in Alabama. In fact, it’s said to be one of the most paranormally active locations in the United States. During the late 1800s employees at the Sloss Furnace Company were in charge of turning coal into steel. The processed steel that was created at the plant was heavily used during the industrial age. It was used in the development of skyscrapers in big cities like New York City and Los Angeles. During this time period, workplace safety was something that didn’t exist. Conditions in the plant were commonly referred to as a “living hell.” In the summer months, it was about 125 degrees inside of the building, mind you there were no breaks or time off for holidays. It was a constant bombardment of orders and work, work until you drop literally.

Possible Poltergeist Activity?

The Sloss Furnace company had a lot of death on its grounds, mostly because of the terrible and deadly working conditions. Human life wasn’t valued at all, it was all about steel and profit. There was one foreman in particular that many said was the evilest man that ever walked the earth. Many who have visited still say he walks around, and on one occasion a nightwatchman had a terrible encounter. The man said he came face to face with a half-demon -half-man looking entity that pushed him down some stairs.

There’s a small cemetery in Central City, Colorado known as the Masonic Cemetery that’s known for having a peculiar visitor, the ghost of a woman in black. Supposedly between the months of April and November people have witnessed seeing a ghostly woman dressed in all black putting flowers on the grave of a man who is buried there. The man’s name is John Edward Cameron and it’s still a mystery as to why she is there and who this woman in black really is.

Some say that she’s still mourning a love she lost and that she may have never come to terms with the loss, even in the afterlife. Others say that she may have poisoned the man and that she’s still guilt-ridden even in death and is still looking for some kind of forgiveness. The strangest part is that she’s been seen by people who were in the cemetery, they saw her up close and she even passed them like she was someone just visiting the cemetery.

The odd part is the way that she dressed isn’t in a manner that people would be dressed like in our time. It’s also said that when she passes you that you get this rather odd and weird type of feeling that’s usually accompanied by a very sharp chill. There have been people who have tried to go up to her and talk to her, but when they get close to her she simply vanishes into thin air.

While there is no recorded history of this woman and why she’s visiting him, the sightings continue and the story lives on. Would you visit this place to see if the story and legends are true?

The Allen House

Monticello, Arkansas’s Allen House has a pretty terrifying reputation for being haunted. Built in 1907, the Allen house was the creation of a family that was involved in the timber business. The 9,000 square feet home has 16 rooms is massive and was an impressive build for the family. Everything was ok with the family, that is until they moved inside of the home. Tragedy struck the family numerous times in what you would call some very bad luck however, others think it had to do with the grounds.

Eventually, in the mid-’50s, the location was transformed into apartments. The tenants at the time complained the house was severely haunted. It was almost to the point that many of these tenants couldn’t sleep there anymore, so what was the cause? They heard strange noises like banging on the walls and crying coming from empty rooms. There was one room in particular that people stayed away from, it was said that the temperatures in the room would always be different from all the other rooms in the house.

Other people said they saw the ghost of the former owner walking around the halls and outside on the property. Some people complained of being touched or pushed by an unseen assailant. The house is currently occupied and the current owners actually offer a history tour of the residence and also a haunted one. You can even stay the night in the house for a small fee, would you want to stay in this house?

Proof Of The Paranormal?

Throughout history we’ve been told that there are various tools or ways that ghosts can actually communicate with us. The ghost would then answer his questions through Polaroid pictures that he was taking. Now while some skeptics believe this is made up, many paranormal researchers and even film experts are baffled and believe that it could possibly be the real thing. For one it was taken at a time when this kid of faking wasn’t easy to do.

The Octagon House – Washington D.C.

Washington’s Octagon House is known for being the most haunted location in the capital. Washington D.C. already is known as one of the most haunted places in the U.S.A. It’s a city with so much history behind it that the echoes of the past can still be heard. The Octagon house is known for being frequented by the ghosts of former presidents among many other famous figures in U.S. history. Could they still be working and going about as they would in their daily lives while on the other side?

The Octogon house is close to the White House, but not many know too much about the house and its history. The house was built in 1800 and at one time it actually served as an intern White House when it burnt down in the early 1800s. Since day one occupant of the house have said there’s a paranormal presence within it. Could the grounds of the location itself be the cause for the paranormal activity? Numerous people have claimed to have seen full-body apparitions moving around the house. Others have heard footsteps and smelled things coming from empty rooms. The sounds of people talking and laughing can be heard in various areas of the house.
