The Ghost That Solved Her Own Murder

Imagine being part of a murder case that wasn’t going anywhere, you didn’t have any solid leads or anything really to go off of, what would you do? Would you try and seek the help of a psychic to see if there was something that they could see in a vision to help out? Most people wouldn’t even think about doing this, but what about if you got help from a place that you would least likely expect?

FROM THE MURDER VICTIM THEMSELVES…

This is the case of the Greenbrier Ghost, the ghost of a girl that helped to solve her own murder. This happened in the late 1800’s so it’s rather odd to hear something like this happening during this time period. Now I wonder if ghosts still do this kind of stuff and are people just too close-minded to hear or see the clues, or was this just a special case? We have to wonder WHY and HOW was this ghost able to do what they did, and why don’t more ghosts do this if this girl was able to help solve her own murder.

Proof Of The Afterlife?

I honestly think this is enough evidince to say that there is something else after death. The scary part was that she kind of resembled the ghost from the original Ghost Busters movie. The floating ghost in white, not the one in the library or Slimer the green ghost. Anywhere you have a long and drawn out history, especially one that stretches back to the 1600’s. You’re going to have a very restless spirits wandering around. Some say that some of the spirits here are looking for vengeance, and others are confused, whatever the case the Shirley Plantation is known as one of the most haunted locations in Virginia.

Construction on Shirley Plantation began as early as 1613 but the brick house foundation began a little over a hundred years after the initial plantation was created.The plantation is STILL owned by the same family that founded it making it the OLDEST FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS in the United States. Surprisingly the home and plantation were spared during the civil war, and it actually served as a hospital during war.

There weren’t any certain conflicts that were war related, but they’re were fights that involved distressed and hurt soldiers. So when you have that much conflict, sorrow, pain, and agony in one place you tend to have some rather strong energy left behind.

What would You Do If This Happened To You?

The black Hope Horror is the inspiration and the TRUE story behind the movie Poltergeist. If you’ve seen the movie Poltergeist you know the horrors the family went through in their new home. The true story isn’t as dramatic and scary as the real story, well then again it’s hard to say if it was scary or not because we weren’t there.

The Black Hope Horror happened in Crosby, Texas and just like in the movie it served as a new location for future homes. However, there was one major problem with the location this subdivision was located at. The subdivision was built over a cemetery that was supposed to be located in another area. The people who had commissioned the project said they moved the bodies and the headstones, but that wasn’t the case.

Families ended up moving in and that’s when the real problems started to happen. People started noticing their homes come with more than they bargained for, eventually, the truth came out and all hell broke loose, not like in the movie but in the courtroom.

The Curse Of The Women From Lemb Statue

Most who have come across this mysterious statue known as ” The Goddess Of Death” Don’t live very long to talk about it. The strange statue was unearthed in Lemb, Cyprus in 1878. It was originally thought to be a fertility goddess of some kind, and it dates back to 3500 B.C.

Upon originally finding it was praised as a great discovery, but as time went on they realized why this thing was tossed aside a very long time ago. It was the kind of thing that no one would want. The family who initially owned the stated died within 6 years of having the statue in their possession. Now I can understand one or 2 deaths, but the entire family?

Eventually another wealthy family came across the statue and it became part of their collection. The same thing happened, but it didn’t stop there. Once again it fell in the hands of 2 more families and you guessed it, both families ended up passing away shortly after.

The Most Cursed Object In History?

Could it be that the cursed women from lemb statue is made of something that is toxic to humans? It could be but that doesn’t explain the deaths of family members that aren’t even around the statue at all. Could it be some type of power that resides within the statue, maybe because it wasn’t supposed to be moved from where it was originally found at?

Probably….

Maybe it was meant for the goddess as a gift or an offering and the goddess or whatever power didn’t want it moved and cursed anyone that had the object in their possession. This isn’t the only object of it’s kind, there are others from Egypt that are said to be cursed, well maybe next time they find something like this they won’t touch it!

The Anguished Man Painting

The World Most Haunted Painting

Now we’ve all heard of haunted paintings like the CRYING BOY or the HANDS RESIST HIM which both are really creepy in their own right. But the painting known as The Anguished Man is a whole different story. Little is known about the actual painter or his history, but what is known is he was a very mentally disturbed individual.

It’s said he used his own blood mixed with paint to create this painting. It was a personal representation of the anguish and pain that he was feeling and supposedly he committed suicide a short time after completing the painting.

Some say that his soul was trapped within the painting and now anyone that has this painting in their possession will suffer the pain and grief that this man did in life.

Others say that the painting just holds his emotions in life and these emotions transfer over to anyone who has the painting or comes within it. Whatever you choose to believe the fact is this painting is really creepy, but could the stories be true?

The Seven Sisters Inn is said to be one of the most haunted bed and breakfasts in Florida. Unlike other haunted bed and breakfasts, this one is said to be haunted by spirits that don’t wish to do harm people. They rather look after the location while having some fun in the process. The Seven Sisters Inn was built in 1895 and has been a bed and breakfast since the day it opened. Not much has at all has changed here except the owners and people who have worked there. There are those that say some of those deceased owners are still around.

The most haunted place in Florida

Visitors have said that they’ve seen things moving around, heard music and voices coming from empty rooms. Guests have had doors shut behind them and even faucets and lights turn off even before they leave the room. The owners just think that some of the ghosts are just rather picky about the inn and how it’s kept.

The caretakers say they get the feeling that the ghosts that haunt The Seven Sisters Inn are just curious. They’ve heard children laughing and running around the rooms that they were just in. The Caretakers hear people moving around in rooms they were about to go in, and right before they enter the room they’ve heard what sounds like two people hushing each other almost like they didn’t want to be caught.

The Haunted Kentucky Tavern

If you’re looking for a place to stay with a colorful history, this haunted Kentucky tavern is it. The Talbott Tavern Bed and Breakfast has been around since 1779. I can’t think of too many places that can boast such a claim. However, the iconic tavern is worth the trip just to hear about its historical stories. Some who have stayed there include the likes of, Abraham Lincoln, King Louis Philippe, George Rogers Clark, Daniel, Boone, and even Jesse James.

The only time the Talbott Tavern closed its doors was in 1998 when it suffered a fire. The inn was restored and the doors were eventually opened back to the public. Other than that, the inn has remained the same and has become an iconic piece of history.

About The Old Talbott Tavern Inn

While the Talbott only has 5 rooms you can stay in, each one comes fully decorated in an antique style. The atmosphere and even the smell of the place will take you back in time. However, there is a creepy side to the inn. There are many who say they’ve had some pretty creepy paranormal incidents while inside of the inn. The Talbott has even been featured on the Travel Channel and the Food Network.
