If you love to travel you know there’s a big chance you might just end up in a haunted room, that is depending on where you’re staying at. Then again some of the most popular places that you would have never thought to be haunted actually are.

But when it comes to renting out places like this in the past, it’s usually hard because a lot of people don’t like to advertise that kind of stuff. However now you can rent a haunted place via AirBnB.

Imagine paying for a place and not KNOWING it’s haunted, would you stay? If something creepy happened would you stay the whole night or look for a way to get a refund?

Just recently we stayed at a hotel in our area that is a bit creepy. The odd part is it’s 1 of a million of these hotels. You can find them in every town and every city. We won’t say WHERE and WHAT hotel it actually is, but we will say we had some poltergeist type activity.

But imagine renting a room that is beyond haunted, would you attempt to sleep or try to pull an all nighter? I don’t know about you but I think I would be a little too spooked to sleep. I would probably sit there all night long waiting for something to happen.

So there are houses that are allegedly haunted, and there are houses like this. We have to admit that we have showcases NUMEROUS houses, hotels, and abandoned places that are supposedly some of the most haunted places on the planet, but this is different.

This house sits on the Hudson River in the small village of Nyack, New York. The house is VERIFIED as being actually haunted, yes it’s been verified. There’s an actual law known as the ” The Ghostbusters Ruling” that was started because of this house.

The house was built in the early 1900’s and various families moved in and out of the place but there wasn’t that many stories floating around at that time. Only the locals knew the truth about the paranormal stuff going on in the house.

In the 1960’s a woman moved in there even after getting warned by the neighbors that something terrifying was going within its walls, but she didn’t listen. Apparently a very healthy friend came over and died on the spot of a cerebral aneurysm.

And that was just the beginning of her terrifying adventure!

For over 30 years the lady who lived in this house shared her stories with various media outlets and publications. Eventually it went to court and to make a long story short…. IT WAS DECLARED HAUNTED!

If you are or used to be a fan of the hit show ‘ Ghost Hunters ‘ you’re going to be in for a treat. The A&E network has decided to bring back the series that produced over 230 shows in its 11 year run.

According to the network the paranormal shows did REALLY well and want to bring Ghost Hunters back as well as ‘Psychic Kids’ and ‘Celebrity Ghost Stories’. They have 2 other new shows in the works and promise fans will like the spooky mix.

The reboot of Ghost Hunters will include Grant Wilson, but won’t be like the old show, they’re going a different direction this time. They will go out and seek people who are being haunted or tormented by the paranormal and attempt to help them.

They will seek out historians, forensic experts, and more in attempt to get to the TRUTH of the matter rather than just get the ” Oh did you see that” like others do.

The new Ghost Hunters will premier August 20th and will run for 20 shows. Who knows how the new show will take off and if it will be received well by audiences.

Could The Ghosts Still Be There?

The museum and soon-to-be bed and breakfast was once a “brothel” and a very profitable one at one point in time. It was opened by the Dumas brothers in the late 1800’s in Butte, Arizona in the heart of a mining town. The setup was designed in order to accompany the business that the Dumas brothers had started up. Throughout the year many wealthy businessmen and even politicians visited the location.

Of course, when you open a place like this, you’re going to have your occurrences that get out of hand. Other times you’re going to have situations that live on forever even after the place closes down and everyone that walked through the doors is long gone from the earth.

There were various murders and many of the women were beaten and abused on various occasions. Even though some of them were getting paid very well the conditions weren’t inviting at all Some say that they’ve seen the spirits of some of these women still walking around the halls of this place, others say that the ghosts of some of the clients have been seen here.

Could the victims and even others who weren’t victims have found their way back to this place? Some have even said that there are ghosts of patrons who use to frequent the brothel. Could they be back looking for a good time on the other side? That’s a good question, and if so would it be a good idea to open a hotel in the same place the brothel was once operating at?

The Creepiest Mansion On The Planet

Indiana’s Thornhaven Manor was built by Simon T. Powel in the year 1845. The family went through some very tragic and untimely deaths as well as some other unfortunate incidents throughout their stay. Various members of the family were said to have passed away within the mansion and some under some rather odd circumstances.

Some say that this is the cause of the hauntings that occur within the mansion. Others say that there had to be something else about the land that caused all the misfortune.

Could the land have a curse over it and be the reason that there were so many unfortunate accidents there? If you look at the “type” of accidents that went on, it makes you scratch your head a bit!

Eventually, the manor fell into disrepair and sat that way until around the year 2012 when a man purchased it and decided to restore it to its former glory. Part of his plan was to create a place where he could have tours and even ghost hunts.

As soon as the renovations started the ghost activity started to grow, some say the restoration woke up something causing the paranormal activity to grow. There are numerous stories of some rather odd and very creepy stuff going on within the walls of this mansion.

Some say that the ghosts are still there and others say there are some other ominous entities roaming around the mansion. Check out the videos we found on the mansion and let us know what you think!

The Most Haunted Roads In The World

There are certain locations on this planet that people should simply stay away from, these 5 creepy roads are some of them. Now we’ve all been on a dark road and wondered if something scary was going to happen or if something spooky or tragic happened there in the past. Most of the time we keep driving on and nothing ever happens, but every now and then we come up to a road that changes the way we look at things.

Leave it to movies like Jeepers Creepers and Wrong Turn to put things in your mind, but those are just movies and things like that don’t happen while on lonely isolated roads, or do they?

We’ve all run into or have heard of some kind of creepy story about roads we should stay away from. But most of the time we dismiss these stories as nonsense or just scary stories that are made up.

If you’re into haunted places like we are by now you’ve heard of the infamous Waverly Hills Sanatorium and some of the creepy stories behind it. The place is a shell of its former self but many say that most of the people who passed away there haven’t left. Others say some very DARK and EVIL entities like THE CREEPER OF WAVERLY HILLS also haunt this place.

However, there’s one room on the 5th floor that stands out among the rest, ROOM 502!

There are numerous stories of encounters with ghosts and other odd things in this small room. Legend has it that a pregnant unmarried nurse hung herself inside of this room, other stories say that another nurse jumped out of the window for some reason. Could the nurse have jumped or was she PUSHED by some unknown force?

Who knows…

Could the stories of this nurse and her misfortune be true? One thing is for sure, there are few photos of her that will make you really think when you see them!

The Most Haunted Hotel In The West?

Like many other old west towns, the Goldfield hotel was located in a town that was pretty much deserted once the gold in the surrounding area ran dry. Inside and out the Goldfield was a marvelous sight to see, but it fell into disrepair when the town was almost entirely abandoned. The hotel switched hands numerous times and each time the plans to make a comeback fell short.

Now the hotel is owned by a man who plans on turning it back into its former glory but as of recent none of the plans have gone through. Some say that it’s a curse around the place because of the gold mines and because so many people lost their money trying to lay claim to the fortune of the gold mines. Others say that it’s because of the creepy and horrible stuff that went on within the hotel throughout the years.

Whatever the case the hauntings are real and many have witnessed some really creepy stuff while visiting!

Portland’s Most Haunted Location

Portland’s Shanghai tunnel system has always had a bad reputation. In the late 1850’s it was a hub for trade, it saw its share for people from various places. A trip to the local pub back then could have meant a one-way ticket overseas without your consent. There were rumors that people were being taken and sold through slave trades. Stolen goods and various other things were being shipped through this underground network.

There were stories of murders, prostitution, and other terrible things going on. Some say this is the reason the tunnel system is so haunted. Others say it’s the ghost of sailors still coming in and out through the tunnels. Those who have been in the tunnel all agree it’s creepy. Many also say they feel as if someone is watching and following them.
