 The Hag Of Galveston, Texas

Beware Of The Hag!

Galveston, Texas is known for having some of the most haunted locations in the United States.  Some say it’s because of the spirits of those who tragically died in a hurricane in the year 1900.

The hurricane killed around 6,000 to 8,000 people. Galveston’s most well-known haunted location is The Hotel Galvez.  Among the hotel’s most haunted rooms and creepy areas, its most famous and HAUNTED is the area that harbors the haunted painting of Bernardo De Galvez.

But the story of the Hag of Galveston is a different kind of ghost, it’s not the type that haunts a house, hotel room, or a painting, these ghosts haunt a particular area. There are different stories of WHO the hag actually was. But one of the most famous stories is that the hag was at one time a beautiful woman that did something extremely bad in order to win the love of another man.

Now in the video, we found you’ll hear the entire story and it’s a rather odd one, could the story be true?

Do You Believe The Hag Is Real?

With so many eyewitness accounts and stories of the hag, it’s hard to discredit the notion that there isn’t something there. Could it be something else rather than the hag? Who knows, but what we do know is there are things in this world that we can’t explain. Things that have no explanation or logic when it comes to us as humans. Our minds can’t and won’t be able to fully comprehend something otherworldly. Well most of us, but what if you DID run into the hag, what would you do? Better yet, what could you do? I know I wouldn’t be able to do anything unless you’re prepared you’re pretty much done for.

Ever Wonder WHY Friday The 13th Is So Unlucky? The Answer May Surprise YouEver Wonder WHY Friday The 13th Is So Unlucky? The Answer May Surprise You

Is Friday The 13th Unlucky?

The Unluckiest Day Of The Year, Friday The 13th

Don’t go under a ladder or spill salt or you will have bad luck, i’m pretty sure you’ve probably heard one of those superstitions at one point in time or another. Most of us have heard some pretty odd ones, and some of us even believe in them. One of the most popular ones is if a black cat crosses your path, you’re going to have bad luck.

Has it ever happened to you?

Unless you truly believe in it and actually manifest what you believe in, it probably hasn’t happened to you. Now I can’t say that it hasn’t happened to anyone, but then again could it be coincidence when it does? There are those who actually believe that the number 13 is an unlucky number. I remember some years back I was in Chicago at a hotel and woman asked for her room to be changed because she wasn’t going to stay on the 13th floor.

Guess what? I did…

Did anything actually happen? No, it was a really good time and staff was pretty cool. My luck on the trip was even better after taking a room on that floor. But is there something off with the 13th day?

Honestly I don’t think so, what do you think?

Check out the video we found by Life Noggin, it’ll make you think!

This Long Island Lake Has A Curse That Only Targets Men!This Long Island Lake Has A Curse That Only Targets Men!

The Curse of Lake Ronkonkoma

Every large lake has some kind of creepy legend or tale surrounding it. Sometimes it’s cryptids or some kind of lake monster that dwells within the depths of the lake. Then you have the alien or ufo sightings, but Lake Ronkonkoma is a bit different, there’s nothing dwelling within the water, that is if you’re female. But if you’re a man you’re running the risk of falling victim to the curse of the lake. Some say it’s nothing more than just a scary tale to go along with all of the deaths, even though they happen to all be men.

Legend has it that an Indian princess fell for an Englishmen, however, her father didn’t approve. Eventually, her love never returned, in those days you never knew what was going to go on being on the high seas. After 7 years she took her own life in the middle of the lake. What is extremely odd about the deaths is how odd they are when they happen. Some men who almost drowned have claimed to have felt hands pull at their feet. Somehow they managed to break free and get to safety. Check out the video post and let us know your thoughts.

Are Curses Real?

Could the ghost of the Indian princess still be looking for her long-lost love? Does she pull men to the bottom of the lake to see if it is her lost love only to be disappointed? Or is she pulling men down because she is trapped in a constant rage and wants others to suffer with her? Who knows, but what many do know is there’s something creepy going on in that lake. What do you think?

An Inside Look At Niagara Fall’s Haunted Screaming TunnelAn Inside Look At Niagara Fall’s Haunted Screaming Tunnel

The Most Haunted Tunnel In The World

Niagara Falls has a pretty terrifying location known as the “Screaming Tunnel.” Legend has it, if you stand in the middle of the tunnel and light a wooden match, it will go out. Then you’ll hear the screams of a girl who died in the tunnel, talk about creepy! Many have said that it’s one of the top haunted roads in the world. The location is so haunted it was used in David Cronenberg’s 1983 adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Dead Zone.” The tunnel was used as a spot where Christopher Walken’s character took temporary refuge. Niagara Falls Haunted Road

There are many versions of the story, but all of them meet the same fate. A young girl who burned to death from a fire near the area. Some stories say she fled her farmhouse and ran into the tunnel where she fell and perished. Others say she was murdered by her raging father and used the fire as a cover up. Some claim this is the true story because of the ghostly things that happen in the tunnel. In some investigations people have heard disembodied voices coming from the tunnel area. Could this be the ghost of the young girl still looking for a way out?

Lydia – The Phantom HitchhikerLydia – The Phantom Hitchhiker

Lydia – The Phantom Hitchhiker

Lydia the phantom hitchhiker is an urban legend about a girl who died on the way home from a school dance. Supposedly ever since the car crash people have been seeing her walking around the road. Some people have said that they've even picked her up, they say she ends up vanishing after a short ride down the street.

Now there are various stories that surround this place, some say that the girls name is Sara and others say it's Lydia, but no one actually knows for sure. There's no real proof that this ghost or apparition actually exists or ever has existed, but who knows. I know there are various legends that are similar to this that have happened in other areas, one in particular being Resurrection Mary in Chicago Illinois.

Anyways checkout this short video and let us know what you think!

Do you know anyone that may have seen her or knows more about the story or legend? If so leave a comment and let us know your story!

The Green Man’s Tunnel Pennsylvania

There’s a location near Pittsburgh that many know as the area that a mysterious figure by the name of  Charlie No Face roams. Supposedly he walks up and down this area near and within a tunnel. Many locals have witnessed seeing this man with no face walking around, they say he looks like he’s stumbling around as if he just walked away from some accident. There are stories that say that Charlie No Face origins stem from an accident that this supposed man had decades ago.

Supposedly he stumbled into the tunnel and walk around probably disoriented and looking for help but ended up passing away in the process. Now, this is just ONE of the stories that locals tell, there are numerous other versions of it as you will hear in the video. There are other haunted tunnels like this in other parts of the world, and that leads me to think about something.

Could tunnels create some kind of vortex to the spiritual realm, or are creepy places like this just a magnet where scary stories and legends start at?

Who knows….

There’s A Creepy Location Near Ojai, California That’s Home To A Terrifying StoryThere’s A Creepy Location Near Ojai, California That’s Home To A Terrifying Story

The Char Man

There’s a small area near Ojai California, that’s said to be extremely haunted. There are various tales of different apparitions that supposedly creep and haunt the area. From a woman in a wedding dress to an old Indian man, but there’s one above all that’s extremely creepy, the Char Man. Supposedly the Char man is the ghost of a man who was severely burnt and so was his son. There are a few variations of the story but supposedly one of them went insane from the burn scars before they died.

You’re supposed to be able to hear someone saying HELP ME, HELP ME, coming from the woods but when you get out and see who needs help, this horribly disfigured and burnt smelling man chases you. There have been a bunch of people who have witnessed this, however no real proof or evidence of this has been found yet. But in all honesty, how would you get some proof of this? Would you ask the man for a picture or find out if he could give you an autograph?

I don’t think so…

The story is so popular in the area that there’s even a hot sauce named after the Char Man. According to those who have witnessed this gruesome figure, they say it’s something they never want to see again!

Could The Father Of The Delta Blues Have Sold His Soul For Fame?Could The Father Of The Delta Blues Have Sold His Soul For Fame?

The Legend Of Robert Johnson

He’s known as the father of the Delta Blues, Robert Johnson is said to be the greatest guitar player to have ever touched the guitar, that is after a strange encounter with the devil. The story goes that he met him in Mississippi on a dirt road, he asked the devil to give him fame and success in exchange he would have to sell his soul to the devil. Supposedly before he met the devil his skill was good but not where he wanted it to be. He wasn’t successful at all and was rather struggling to find gigs, that is until that fateful day.

After the encounter he supposedly rose to fame and became super successful and admired by many. That was until the day of his death at the age of 27, it’s rather odd though that he died at the age of 27. There have been numerous other very talented musicians and singers who have also died at that same age. Some of them have said they did the same thing in exchange for fame and fortune, could the legend be true?

Internet Urban Legends Or Scary True Story?

When you hear urban legends like this one, it kind of makes you cringe a little bit. Imagine getting on a bus and being taken to the an asylum on accident. It’s obvious no one is going to believe your story and that you’re not a patient. They probably wouldn’t believe anyone on the bus, so you would all be in the same boat. It could happen if someone like the bus driver wasn’t paying attention, or had something else on his or her mind. What would you or could you do if something like this happened to you?

The 7th Barn – You’ll Never Look At Another Barn The Same WayThe 7th Barn – You’ll Never Look At Another Barn The Same Way

The 7th Barn Urban Legend

This urban legend originated somewhere in Ohio and it sounds like it could be something that could have possibly happened. You have to wonder sometimes if some of these urban legends actually come from true stories, the problem starts and ends with one thing…. PROOF!

If there isn’t any kind of real evidence to back a legend up, welp it becomes a creepy urban legend and nothing more. But this isn’t the case just for this place, it’s the case for all creepy places.

Some say the story was made up by local kids in an attempt to spread a scary story, and others say that the story is true but the part about the ghost barn is the part that isn’t true. Whatever the case may be it’s one of those stories that will make you think next time you’re out in the country and you see a random old creepy barn.

The Urban Legend That Could Be Real

When it comes to urban legends, most of the time they’re stories that are made up to scare kids and teens. Sometimes people make these stories up in order to keep people from those areas. It can have a reverse effect and if the story lives long enough, it may spiral out of control. However, there are cases where an urban legend turns out to be real, check out the story of the REAL Candy Man and Cropsey The Hook Carrying killer and where it call came from. You’ll start to look at urban legends a little bit different once you do.
