If  you’ve seen American Horror story you know the amazing special effects and makeup the show requires in order to pull off some of the gruesome and scary stuff they do. Some of the effects and makeup leave you thinking that it might be real, and sometimes it's so realistic you can't help to turn away and cringe at some of the effects.

Imagine the hard work and long hours it takes to pull of some of these scenes. The crazy part is that some of the scenes last a very short amount of time. So to put in endless hours in order to pull of the perfect moment is even crazier when y ou really think about it. But how do these special effects and makeup masters do this kind of stuff?
