The World’s Worst Cat?
Most of us at one point in time or another have had a cat or some type of pet. If you did or have or been around one you know they all have different personalities. Some can be super playful, and others…. Well they could be like Perdita.
“We thought she was sick. Turns out she’s just a jerk,” wrote Mitchell County Animal Rescue about Perdita, who is up for adoption.
A North Carolina animal shelter is being as honest as they can be in an adoption ad for what they describe as the “WORLDDS WORST CAT.” The animal rescues agency’s Facebook listing has been going viral because of their description of what to expect with this cat.
Apparently the cat pretended to be sick and it just turned out she just didn’t like anyone. She was taken in after her owner died so that could be part of the problem. Or she could just be like some of us and not want to be around people.
Supposedly the cat likes “staring into your soul until you feel as if you may never be cheerful again,” “lurking in dark corners, being queen of her domicile” and “fooling shelter staff into thinking she’s sick,”.
Perdita dislikes kittens, dogs, children and hugs but is “ready to be socially awkward with a socially awkward human who understands personal space.” Talk about a cat with some major personality. Some are speculating if the ad was just made up to find her a good home or if she is actually a bad cat.
The office manager of shelter says that the cat is just plain “all-out awful.” I think someone needs to call the cat guy to see if he can help change Perdita’s attitude around, what do you all think?
