Ohio’s Most Haunted Tunnel
There’s an area near Vinton County Ohio called the Moonville tunnel that’s shrouded in mystery. It’s an old location that isn’t used by trains anymore, however some have said that there’s a track adjacent to it that is still in service. The tunnel and tracks are over 100 years old and the stories of it being haunted are almost as old as the tunnel and track themselves.
Supposedly there’s a man with a lantern that a bunch of people have witnessed. There are numerous reports of people seeing this person on the other side of the tunnel, when they make their way down the tunnel to meet him; no one ends up being on the other side.
There have been a few deaths near tunnel, so could these deaths be the reason that this tunnel is haunted? Could it be something else that haunts this area and mimics those who have passed away? Could it all be made up stories looking to scare kids at campfires?
Good question….
