The Horror Movie Stephen King Had To Stop Watching Because It Was Too Scary

Author Stephen King is considered one of the masters of horror. He’s written some of the scariest tales of all times like The Shining, Cujo, Salem’s lot, and many others. So when you hear that Stephen King had to turn off a movie because it was too scary it makes you think a bit. He revealed in an interview via Dread Central the film and the story behind it, and why it was so scary.

Stephen King stated in his own words regarding the found footage horror film, The Blair Witch Project :

“The first time I saw [The Blair Witch Project], I was in the hospital and I was doped up. My son brought a VHS tape of it and he said, ‘You gotta watch this.’ Halfway through it I said, ‘Turn it off it’s too freaky.’”
