When Aliens Invaded 

In 1942 something very odd happened, a U.F.O  flew over Los Angeles county, but what happened next will live on forever. During the morning hours the air raid sirens sounded and ground forces concentrated fire on an unknown alien craft. The most well known picture of this supposed attack actually shows what looks like explosions in the sky, but the strange part is that nothing ever touched the craft. 

The craft never fired back at all nor did it move, it just sat there and pretty much laughed at our primitive forces. Could it have been some sort of force field technology that this alien craft had that was protecting it? Some people say that the craft was there for along while and then it eventually took off, but that's not the oddest part.
