Anaheim Fall Festival & Halloween Parade

Anaheim, California’s Fall Festival & Halloween Parade has been going on for nearly 100 years. It draws in crowds of over 50,00 people throughout SoCal to its an amazing event. However, due to the COVID 19 Pandemic instead of canceling the event, they are going to go the virtual route.

According to the organizers:

“We know a lot will be different,” coordinators said. “But traditions reflect those that celebrate them, and we’re excited to bring a fresh take on how Anaheim continues to hold the biggest little hometown Halloween festivities around.”

This is going to be very different and a tough blow for many who love the event, but it’s safety first. A lot of people are saying that it’s months away and that it shouldn’t be canceled as of yet. However, with the pandemic in place and not showing any signs of slowing down, it’s probably a good call to cancel it ahead of time so they can work on a virtual plan.

Have you ever been to this festival or know someone who has? Do you think the virtual event is going to be a success? Do you think more events will take place online or will they just be canceled until next year?
