Jared Leto is back but this time he isn’t coming back as the Joker. This time he is playing “Morbius” the bloodsucking vampire antihero. Morbius isn’t under the Disney banner but instead it’s under Sony. Leto plays Dr. Michael Morbius, a Nobel price winning doctor with a rare blood condition that is cutting his life short. He is in a frantic search for an answer, a way out of his condition.
He ends up turning himself into a Vampire with all kinds of crazy super human abilities . The crazy part of this movie is that it has nothing to do with Marvel. However the movie will be “in association with Marvel” instead. This makes a fans super happy knowing that now there’s an open door for various characters that couldn’t get through before because of legal reasons.
We don’t think that fans will look down on Leto as many did when he played the Joker. We honestly thought he did well as the Joker, but now that he is Morbius we think he can own this role.
